Lineage matters! Gracie Jiu-Jitsu is a highly complex and technical martial art and sport. Understanding the details of each technique are extremely important. Jiu-Jitsu is very often compared to the game of chess and for good reason. Skill, strategy and technical ability far outweigh physical ability and aggression.


Gracie Humaitá in Brazil was the very first Brazilian jiu-jitsu academy in the world when it was established by Grandmaster Hélio Gracie. Since that time, the art and sport of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu has evolved and become incredibly popular throughout the United States and beyond.


Our academy here in Weldon Spring, MO is one of the official Gracie Humaitá academies and part of the Gracie Humaitá Association. We have a direct lineage to the origins of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu itself!

Jiu-Jitsu is a fantastic activity for everyone, especially children and teens. This is a martial art, an extra curricular activity, a sport that your child can do their entire lives. At our academy, they will build classroom skills that will benefit them for years to come in school and beyond.
